In the presence of Torsten Akmann, State Secretary of the Interior for the Senate Administration of Interior and Sport of the State of Berlin, and Friedrich Brieger, industry coordinator for "General services, banking and insurance" at the Industrie- und Handelskammer (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) Berlin were on hand to welcome the service group KÖTTER Services to their new premises "At Borsigturm 100" in Tegel. The roughly 1,500 square metre site houses security services, security technology and facility cleaning services under a single roof. This enables customers and staff to profit from short routes and efficient procedures.
"The modern site underlines our roots in the capital city and will also support us in sustainably expanding our position further within the markets for security and facility services", confidently claims Friedrich P. Kötter who is, among other things, a member of the board of KÖTTER SE & Co. KG Security, Berlin. He, in conjunction with Silke Krüger, Managing Director of KÖTTER SE & Co. Reinigung & Service, Berlin, and Rüdiger Haase, Managing Director of KÖTTER SE & Co. Security, Berlin, were on hand to greet Torsten Akmann and Friedrich Brieger, plus members of the house of delegates in Berlin and some 80 other guests from both politics and economics, as well as authorities and associations.
The service group is active throughout the country, and is the largest family-owned security company in the German security industry. It is also one of the Top 10 facility service providers and has now been active in the capital for almost 27 years. The opening speech included the recollection, "When we started providing services on 1st August 1990, our family company was one of the first private security service providers to take up activities in the united Berlin after the collapse of the wall", from Friedrich P. Kötter, who is, among other things, also Vice President of the Bundesverbandes der Sicherheitswirtschaft (Federal Association of the Security Economy). "Just three months later, the Cleaning subsidiary was launched."
In the following decades, the company continued to grow. Today the portfolio ranges from security services and technology, through to cleaning and personnel services and down to risk and health management. The clients, which include both large concerns and medium-sized companies, as well as authorities and museums, profit from system solutions from a single source, thus allowing the client to concentrate on their core tasks.
At the same time, the threads for the care of internationally active clients also converge in the capital. German Business Protection GmbH (GBP), which belongs to the KÖTTER Group offers comprehensive consultation services to companies, non-government organisations and administration in the form of integrated risk management.
The KÖTTER Group's latest addition to the capital's asset, the "KÖTTER Akademie-Ost" is also based just two streets further in Wittestrasse. The 600 square metre facility offers sufficient space for modern training concepts and also has an attached recruiting centre.
