Security for your property
Smoke and heat extraction systems
Preventive fire protection includes smoke and heat extraction systems (SHEVs), which remove smoke and heat through special openings in the event of a fire. They keep buildings smoke-free, secure escape routes, and facilitate the deployment of firefighters and rescue personnel. SHEVs slow the spread of smoke and fire, thus increasing the safety of building occupants.
SHEVs are required by law depending on the building type and requirements, particularly in public and large residential buildings. The choice between electric or pneumatic systems depends on the building type, size, and structure and should be made with a specialist. Installation and maintenance are subject to DIN 18232.
