Questions about vacancies or the application process?

What documents do I need to submit with my application?

Please enclose the following documents with your application:

  • Cover letter (with indication of the job posting)
  • Resume
  • Certificates (previous employer and/or acquired qualifications)
  • Optional: additional qualification evidence

Please do not send us any original documents (originals of certificates, for example). Please only send copies.

How can I get more information about posted jobs or the KÖTTER Group?

The fastest and easiest way is to contact the person listed in the job posting.

What can I earn at KÖTTER?

The KÖTTER Group companies always pay in accordance with the applicable pay scale regulations.

In the security field, for example, these are the wage regulations of the BDSW (for security services) or the BDGW (for cash & valuables services).

In the field of cleaning services, these are the wage regulations of the building cleaner trade.

In the field of temporary staffing, these are the wage regulations of the German Federal Employer's Association of Recruitment Agencies. In the area of product restocking, we follow the wage regulations of the ILS Association.

In sub-sectors, we pay above scale.

It is important to us to note that we naturally pay salaries and wages on time. Depending on the field, we wire salaries and wages in the middle or at the end of the month.

What qualifications do I need to have for the security trade?

The instruction procedures according to §34a GewO (German Industrial Code) are the minimum qualifications for the security guarding sector. You can only acquire this mandatory qualification through the responsible chamber of industry and commerce.

Additional qualifications, such as the statutory exam according to §34a GewO or further qualifications, can be acquired at the in-house KÖTTER Academy. You can find the current training program here.

Don't have all of the qualifications for a posted job? No problem; contact us anyway. We will provide you with information about training measures and career entry opportunities.

Is work clothing provided?

Yes. When work clothes or safety equipment is required, all employees receive a first set at hiring. It is replaced at regular intervals or after wearing out.

What continuing education offerings are available at KÖTTER?

KÖTTER Academy offers a variety of different education and training options. The current training program is continually updated with additional offerings. In addition, we also support additional training measures according to individual consultation.

What work hours can I expect with KÖTTER?

The KÖTTER Group's areas of operation are so widely varying that it's not possible to provide one universal answer here. While employees in administration work during "classical" office hours, our employees in the fields of security and cleaning services often work in the early morning, late in the evening or even at night. Of course, we pay additional amounts in accordance with collective wage agreements for such unusual work hours (which can also include work on weekends or holidays).

What work models are there at KÖTTER?

The KÖTTER Group offers all conceivable options: from full time positions to part time positions to "mini-job"-based positions.
