Escape and rescue route technology takes two seemingly contrary demands into consideration. On the one hand, it should prohibit unauthorised entry from outside by closing all doors and gates. On the other hand, it should provide a requisite safe evacuation possibility and or allow authorised entry.

Sophisticated technology provides a technologically secure closure while at the same time allowing authorised alarm-free movement in all directions of choice and an alarm notification in the case of unauthorised opening.
