Cooperation with the government places high demands on the quality of consulting provided by a private security service provider. It is for this reason that KÖTTER Security created the security advisory council in 2000. The goal of this board is to maintain relationships with federal and state government authorities and to build relationships and cooperate with various security organisations (police, army, state offices for the protection of the constitution).
General a. D. Ulrich K. Wegener
Chairman of the KÖTTER Security Advisory Board. Founder of the counterterrorism unit “GSG 9”, which freed the hostages from the hands of Arabic terrorists in Mogadishu under his command in 1997. Wegeners tactical and operative deployment concepts and unconventional training methods became the standard and guideline for the deployment and new conception of foreign counterterrorism units.
